Description: Gridiron Experts is a fantasy football advisory site that wanted a lot of eye candy. I started with a very simple wordpress theme with an excellent navigation bar, and basically created everything else from scratch. I added a cool featured content slider on the home page and a cheat sheet in the right side bar for quick links to articles.

Type: Entertainment Blog
Description: Slick Panda is an entertainment blog that features slide shows of current celebrities, funny and amazing pictures, and also features videos and articles about entertaining topics. The design called for a “wow-factor” header, with fast loading images and room for banners and links. This was a simple project once the owner decided on a logo. I also created a user friendly navigation bar that the original theme didn’t have.

Site Name: Right Light Photography
Type: Professional Photographer Portfolio
Description: This site was a fun, yet challenging project. How do you showcase a professional photographers work and still allow a place for credentials and content? Sometimes keeping things simple is the smartest game plan. I created a slide show of all the amazing photos, then added a navigation bar with links about the owner. I used one of the best cache plugins for fast loading of supersized images.

Site Name: All United Roofing
Type: Business Roofing Company
Description: A basic information site about the company, with history and experience listed in a handful of pages by a slider type menu (a lot like what I’m currently using for my site Ethical Champ). This project involved a long search for the perfect company logo, but in the end it became a staple of their business, going on all signs, trucks, stationery, and business cards. He started out wanting to create a simple site, and in the end found a missing link to help his company grow.

Site Name: Super Cute Pets
Type: Video Site
Description: A video site of cute animals. I created a landing page with multiple preview links to catch peoples interest. The maintenance for this site is incredibly user friendly; the owner can easily add new videos in a matter of minutes. I added ranking plugins, created a facebook fan group, and custom banners.

Site Name: The Slap Shot
Type: NHL Hockey Blog
Description: The Slap Shot is a site that features Mark Ritter, a diehard hockey fan who not only writes about teams and players, but also interviews them from time to time. Each article pulls the image displayed within the post and adds it to the main page automatically. There is a front page “magazine” style to the blog, yet each article has it’s own basic layout. I included team links in the header to encourage more page reads, and also added a few other “clickable” features to draw in the reader.

Site Name: La Casa Resort Rental
Type: Vacation Rental Home
Description: A simple, easy website full of colorful pictures and slide shows of a cute summer home in Kelowna, BC, Canada. This site is for a privately owned vacation home that needed a website to showcase its beauty. I used the owners photos (from their own camera) to make the custom logo, and added more beautiful pictures throughout the theme. This type of website takes me no more than a day to create.
